Overview:

The Environmental Science Meeting for Australian Research Teams (EnviSMART) is a national online forum held monthly on Thursdays 16:00 – 17:00 AEST and is hosted by the Australian Laboratory for Emerging Contaminants (ALEC) at the University of Melbourne. EnviSMART is an opportunity for environmental science professionals and researchers to share science online.

Next month, Dr Alex Bond is a champion of diversity in STEM. Currently the senior curator in charge of birds at the Natural History Museum in London, Dr Bond will give a brief account of the history of LGBTQ+ rights in the countries he's lived, the experience of LGBTQ+ people in STEM, and talk about the parallels between how we as a society perpetuate and experience harm and his marine plastic research.
